Kalihi is known for being a “place of transition,” but what if there is no longer room or resources to transition?
“One Kalihi” is the name of my podcast that will feature the people of Kalihi. We will bring up issues, resources, and get to know the people that make up our beautiful community.
I made this podcast To uplift and give a platform the voices of Kalihi in a world where social media can only share so much, and news media barely covers everything important happening on our island. We need this for our community.

Kalihi means “the edge” in Hawaiian. Symbolically it means “a place of transition.” Kalihi boarders the western part of the city of Honolulu, on the island of O’ahu.
